Summer Classes for Children, Youth, Adults, and Advanced Students

This summer, join Shotokan Karate Dojo for a wide range of karate classes designed for children, youth, adults, and advanced karate practitioners. Whether you are a beginner or have years of experience, we have a class tailored to your needs. Our summer training programs are designed to enhance your karate skills, fitness, and discipline while having fun and making new friends.

Summer Training & Competition Preparation

Looking to take your karate skills to the next level? Our competition training is perfect for those interested in karate tournaments, including Olympic-style WKF/USA-NKF competitions and AAU events. Get the training you need to excel in local, national, and international competitions. Learn from seasoned instructors with experience in competitive karate sparring, kata, and kumite (sparring).

New Class Starting for Children (5 and Up)

We are excited to announce the launch of our children’s Shotokan karate class for ages 5 and up. This beginner-friendly class will introduce your child to the fundamentals of Shotokan karate, including discipline, focus, respect, and self-defense techniques. Our goal is to foster both physical fitness and mental strength in a fun and engaging environment.

Give it a Shot – Children's/Youth Beginner Shotokan Karate Class

If your child is ready to learn karate, our children’s beginner class is the perfect place to start. This class introduces the basics of Shotokan karate, focusing on karate techniques, self-defense, discipline, and the development of confidence. Our experienced instructors create a positive, supportive environment where children can thrive and build karate fundamentals.

Adult and Advanced Shotokan Karate Classes

We are also forming new adult Shotokan karate classes and advanced Shotokan karate classes. Whether you’re new to karate or have previous experience, these classes will help you improve your karate techniques, prepare for competition, or develop self-defense skills. Train alongside fellow martial artists and learn under highly qualified instructors with extensive experience in Shotokan karate.

Topics and Questions: Introduction to Traditional Shotokan Karate

Join us for an introduction to traditional Shotokan karate and learn about the history, philosophy, and core principles that define this martial art. Our karate instructors will explain the importance of karate techniques, kata, kumite, and self-defense within the Shotokan system.
